The Process of Wedding Bouquet Preservation
Your bouquet holds memories you’ll want to keep forever. At Pressed Meadow, I carefully press and arrange your flowers into a timeless artwork, created just for you, so your special day can continue to bloom in your home.
-
First Step
Thinking about having your wedding blooms preserved and turned into your very special floral art? Let's talk about your bouquet and check my availability here!
-
Book Your Date
Time to complete your booking: familiarise yourself with the contract, choose your frame size and colour, and finalise the deposit. All that's left now is to enjoy your incredible wedding day!
-
Post / Drop Off Your Bouquet
You're married, yay! Your beautiful wedding blooms are now ready to be dropped off / posted, following the posting guide you received with your booking confirmation (it’s really easy).
-
Flower Pressing
Your flowers are ready to be preserved. Your bouquet will be taken apart and I'll press your flowers individually, bloom by bloom, even petal by petal, using traditional and modern flower pressing methods. They'll remain snug in the flower presses for 2-3 months.
-
Design
3-5 months: it's time for the most exciting part of the preservation process. When your flowers are pressed and reconstructed from petals (where needed), I'll create a mock-up design of your artwork! You'll receive an email with a photo of your beautiful arrangement, to make sure you love it. You'll then also receive your final invoice and your flowers will be ready for gluing.
-
Framing
5-6 months: the wait is over - your artwork is ready to be framed in a bespoke frame created by a local framer especially for Pressed Meadow, wrapped and collected / posted to you!
“The bouquet frame is just so beautiful! We are over the moon, even better than what we could’ve imagined. Thanks so much, it’ll be such a treasure to have this hanging in our home over the years.”
— Sybilla
Design Style
At Pressed Meadow, you can choose between two design styles for your wedding bouquet preservation. Each approach celebrates the beauty of your flowers in its own unique way - no two frames are ever the same.
1. Modern Botanical Collage (Deconstructed Style)
A light, contemporary botanical collage where each bloom is arranged individually. This style is a modern interpretation that highlights every flower’s shape, colour and texture.
Airy, editorial and meadow-inspired - perfect for couples who love a clean, artistic look for their wedding bouquet preservation.
2. Bouquet Style (Full & Lush Composition)
This style brings your bouquet’s original fullness back to life. It captures the character of your bouquet - not a replica, but a soft, romantic re-imagining using your pressed flowers.
Your heirloom piece will look its best when created from a bouquet with a variety of small and medium flowers and plenty of texture. Pressed Meadow especially loves colourful bouquets, but pale palettes will transform into soft antique tones after pressing, adding a lovely vintage charm.
Every flower is pressed with care - whole or petal by petal - using traditional and modern methods. Once pressed, I choose the best flowers and stems, then thoughtfully arrange each element to create pressed flower artwork that feels timeless, romantic and personal to you.
“I've received my pressed flowers.. they are truly stunning! Thank you so much for your creative and hard work in giving me such a beautiful monument that I will treasure for life.”

Every frame is crafted with a local independent framer, featuring custom double-glass and a wood-style finish.
