Emma’s Pressed Spring Wedding Bouquet from Suffolk | Wedding Bouquet Preservation by Pressed Meadow

When Emma’s spring wedding bouquet arrived by post from Suffolk, I instantly loved its soft, romantic beauty. Her bouquet featured a joyful mix of peonies, ranunculus, roses, sweetpeas, nigella (love-in-a-mist), delphiniums, feverfew daisies, bunny tails, and gypsophila — each bloom chosen with care and bursting with seasonal freshness.

Created by Sarah Freeman Floristry for Emma’s wedding at The Garden Barn in Little Bradley, Suffolk, the bouquet captured the spirit of spring perfectly. The colour palette combined soft pinks, yellows, blues, and whites with vibrant accents of deep pink and orange — a beautiful harmony of warmth and light.

As I began the preservation process, I could already see how lovely these flowers would be once pressed. Pastel blooms often soften to gentle vintage tones of cream and beige, while brighter flowers deepen in shade — a transformation that creates a rich and balanced final composition.

Emma’s bouquet pressed beautifully, with the delicate pale tones contrasting against the deeper, more vivid hues to create a wonderfully textured and timeless design.

The finished pressed flower frame feels like a piece of spring itself — airy, bright, and full of natural movement. Each flower tells a small part of Emma’s story, preserved forever as an elegant and meaningful wedding bouquet keepsake.

It was such a joy to preserve this bouquet and see its colours come to life again in their new form. If you’d love to preserve your own wedding bouquet — whether hand-delivered or sent by post — I would be delighted to create a bespoke piece that captures the essence of your day.
