Helen’s Wildflower Wedding Bouquet, Beautifully Pressed and Preserved

Helen’s June wedding at Wilde Lodge in Powys was a joyful celebration of colour and love. Her bouquet, created by the wonderful Ivory Hill Florist in Alvechurch, was filled with bright, seasonal British flowers - blooms that beautifully came together in every shade of summer.

A few days after the wedding, Helen carefully posted her bouquet to my Buckinghamshire studio for preservation. I always love seeing how much care couples put into sending their flowers - even three days later, Helen’s bouquet still arrived full of life and character. It’s a lovely reminder that your flowers can travel beautifully by post, no matter where you’re based in the UK.

Pressing Helen’s flowers was such a lovely process. Every flower had its own personality: vibrant pinks, purples, oranges and minimal touches of greenery that came together so naturally. Once the blooms were pressed, I spent time creating a design that captured the movement and wildness of her original bouquet.

The finished pressed wedding bouquet design was simply beautiful, full of wildflowers, colour, and flow. It had that loose, garden-inspired feel that made Helen’s flowers so unique, and it now sits in her home as a lasting piece of art, full of love and memory.

Here in Buckinghamshire, I create pressed flower frames for couples all over the UK - whether you’re planning to drop your bouquet off in person or post it safely from afar. Each piece is made with care, patience, and a little bit of magic to ensure your flowers are preserved beautifully.
