Preserving Sarah’s Wedding Flowers – A Pink Summer Bouquet from Ridge Farm

Some wedding bouquets are simply unforgettable - and Sarah’s was one of those.

Her mid-August wedding at the beautiful Ridge Farm was full of colour, warmth and late-summer romance, perfectly reflected in her flowers. Created by Flo and Foxglove in Kent, the bouquet was a joyful statement piece: a lush mix of summer blooms in every shade of pink. Vibrant, romantic, and full of happy memories from the day.

As a wedding flower preservation artist, these are the bouquets I adore working with: rich in texture, movement and meaning.

Turning a Wedding Bouquet into Lasting Keepsakes

From Sarah’s wedding flowers, I preserved a whole collection of bespoke pieces, each one thoughtfully designed to tell part of the story of her day:

  • One extra large A2 framed artwork, created to make a real statement in her home

  • A sweet mini frame, gifted as a special thank-you to her maid of honour

  • And 20 tiny herbariums, carefully made to give to friends and family

Each herbarium became a small piece of the wedding day - delicately preserved, wrapped, and shared. I love how this approach allows couples to extend the life of their wedding flowers, turning one bouquet into many meaningful keepsakes for the people who shared the day with them.

The Magic of Wedding Bouquet Preservation

Wedding flowers are fleeting by nature. They bloom beautifully, then perish all too quickly. But through wedding bouquet preservation, something delicate and temporary can be transformed into artwork that lasts for years.

Preserved flowers quietly remind you of how the day felt - the colours, the joy, the love - long after the dress has been packed away and the celebrations have ended. That’s the magic of preserving wedding flowers.

If you’re recently married, planning your wedding, or wondering what to do with your bouquet after the big day, I would love to hear from you - wedding bouquet preservation is a beautiful way to hold onto those memories forever.
