How to post your wedding bouquet - Wedding Bouquet Preservation in the UK

When booking to have your precious wedding bouquet pressed by me and turned into beautiful framed art, you can opt to drop your bouquet off at my studio in Buckinghamshire, or to post it to me if drop off is not an option. Posting is incredibly easy and I provide my clients with a detailed posting guide with each booking confirmation, to take you step by step through the process. The posting guide also includes tips on how to take care of your wedding bouquet after the ceremony - to keep your flowers as fresh as possible for the preservation.

Essentially all you need for posting is a big box, some scrunched up tissue paper / newspaper, damp kitchen roll to wrap around the bottom of the stems, a sandwich bag and a rubber band to prevent any leakage. I always recommend to get everything you need for posting ready before your wedding - that way you won’t have to stress about finding a suitable box when you’re floating on cloud nine in a post-wedding bliss (as you should!). All that’s left then is to gently wrap your flowers, place them in a box, whisper ‘see you in a few months…!’ and send them my way from your local post office with Royal Mail.

I absolutely love my floral deliveries and the unboxing of the bouquets, to see what floral treasures I’ll get to press. Sometimes I’m able to see the bouquet on the florist’s instagram page on the couple’s actual wedding date  - but often the first glimpse at the blooms happens when I open the box. It’s fantastic that there is this easy way to deliver the wedding bouquet, often in less than 24 hours, as it allows couples who love the Pressed Meadow style to post their gorgeous flowers no matter their wedding location. I’ve pressed wedding blooms arriving from the Isle of Skye, Scotland, Cornwall and even abroad - just to name a few!

If you would like to have your bouquet preserved by Pressed Meadow but you’re not local to my studio - please rest assured that posting is a great option and your flowers will be with me ready for pressing in less than 24 hours.
